Liberación is a weekly in Spanish published in Malmoe, Sweden since 1981. As one of the earliest foreign language periodicals in Sweden, its Latin-American profile makes it one of the most original medias, not only in this country but also in the whole of Europe for it contains continuous and updated information about the developments in Central and South-America and the Caribbean, covering also Swedish news and keeping up with the main international issues.

Every week, for 20 years, Liberación has been offering its readers, spread over Scandinavia, Europe and Latin-America, 44 pages of news together with special supplements. The weekly could be published continuously thanks to the work of the Association "Cuestión" - responsible for its edition - and contributors and correspondents in Sweden, other European countries and the Americas.

In Sweden, the weekly has played a key role as a media and an integration means of the Latin-American community but also as a reference for Swedish citizens and institutions especially interested in the Latin-American current events.

Today, Liberación can be found in a wide range of communitiy libraries all over Sweden as well as in government, public and local institutions, schools, universities, interest groups etc.
